Alvin Carlos - Financial Advisor

Financial Planner & Managing Partner

I fell in love with personal finance after grad school, spending Saturdays immersed in Warren Buffett books and money magazines. I was drawn to how smart financial moves, like investing in a Roth IRA or improving my credit score, could lead to freedom and peace of mind. I felt compelled to share it with others.

Helping others achieve financial clarity isn’t just my job, it’s my calling. And I’m building a company where like-minded financial planners can thrive and do the same.

Whether I’m advising a client, playing pickleball, or strategizing with my team on how to scale our firm, I try to live by these values: integrity, learning, kindness, and punctuality.

My Why

I started District Capital to serve people like my friends, ambitious, busy professionals who wanted smart financial advice but didn’t feel they could trust or access traditional advisors.

When I saw how life-changing the right financial moves could be, it felt like discovering a great movie: I couldn’t help but share it.

That spark became my mission to make holistic, fiduciary financial planning truly accessible to people building their wealth and future. It’s what fuels me every day and guides everything we do at District Capital.
