Alvin Carlos, CFP®, CFA

Financial Planner & Managing Partner

I fell in love with personal finance after grad school. My favorite way to relax on a Saturday was reading Warren Buffett investment books and personal finance magazines. I enjoyed all the practical ways it can help grow my wealth and attain financial freedom. I didn’t want to keep all that knowledge to myself. I wanted to share what I knew with my community.

What sets me apart is my unwavering dedication to investing and my constant pursuit of new opportunities for my clients. With over a decade of experience, I understand the unique financial situations, hopes, and dreams of professionals in their prime earning years. I want to use the gifts I’ve been given to help the people around me.

Growing up with five older sisters taught me the value of empathy and the art of understanding people’s dreams and challenges. It’s this high emotional intelligence that allows me to connect with my clients on a deeper level – to truly grasp their aspirations and guide them toward financial success.

But beyond the numbers, what truly drives me is the profound sense of fulfillment that comes from helping others navigate their financial journeys. It’s a calling I discovered along the way – one that fuels my desire to build an inclusive and effective company that welcomes financial planners who share my values.

Integrity, learning, kindness, and punctuality—these are the cornerstones of my character. Whether I’m on the pickleball court or plotting my next move in a game of chess, I strive to embody these values in every aspect of my life. Because for me, it’s about making a difference in the lives of those around me.
