Brittany Chapman - Financial Advisor

Financial Planner

My path to financial planning developed through a combination of service, education, and professional experience. After leaving the Navy, I began volunteering with the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, where I helped Sailors and Marines navigate financial challenges. I found this experience incredibly rewarding, especially that moment when something that initially felt overwhelming began to feel manageable. That experience stayed with me.

I went on to earn a degree in Financial Management and build a career in government finance, developing a strong analytical foundation and experience navigating complex, high-stakes financial decisions. But I continued to feel drawn to personal finance and the opportunity to make a more direct impact in people’s lives. That pull eventually led me to pursue a master’s degree in Financial Planning.

Through that journey, I realized that what I enjoyed most wasn’t simply analyzing information or solving financial problems. It was helping people make sense of complexity and use it to make decisions that truly mattered. Today, I see my role as a thought partner and guide. My clients are the experts in their own lives. I bring financial expertise, structure, and perspective to the conversation, helping them understand their options, weigh competing priorities, and make thoughtful decisions that support what matter most to them.

My Why

I believe people deserve to feel confident in their financial lives and know they have someone in their corner. Financial decisions can be deeply personal and often come with competing priorities, uncertainty, and difficult choices. I care deeply about creating a relationship where clients feel heard, valued, and understood, and where they can trust that I have their best interests at heart.

I’m passionate about helping people work through the financial decisions that can feel overwhelming and giving them the clarity and education to understand what is possible. I want to help clients ask the right questions, consider different perspectives, and feel confident weighing the tradeoffs that come with important decisions. Every client’s circumstances and priorities are different, and I believe the best planning starts with taking the time to truly understand what matters to them.

The most rewarding part of this work is seeing someone move from feeling overwhelmed or uncertain to feeling confident and empowered in their financial plan. I want clients to leave our conversations with greater clarity, a stronger understanding of their options, and the confidence to move forward knowing they have someone beside them to help navigate the decisions ahead.
